Jubilee Centre

People

Executive Director

Dr John Hayward has been the executive director of the Jubilee Centre since January 2008. He previously worked for twelve years in international development. For much of that time he was based in the former Soviet republic of Tajikistan, just north of Afghanistan, where he established an adult education centre. He has a degree in natural sciences and a PhD in genetics from Cambridge University and an MA in TESOL from Azusa Pacific University, California. He is married with two primary school-aged children.

Staff

Alan White joined the Jubilee Centre staff in September 2005 as part-time Projects Manager. He is married with two children, is an elder in a local church and is currently studying theological and pastoral studies part-time. He worked for many years in marketing consultancy.

Guy Brandon has worked as a part-time researcher and author for the Jubilee Centre since April 2006. He is a trained counsellor and freelance writer, and has a degree, MPhil and PhD in Old Testament theology from Cambridge University. He is married with one child.

Sarah Bull, Chris Dixon, James Marshall, Maureen Millar, and Steve Welch all contribute part of their time to the work of the Jubilee Centre in IT, accounts and administration. They also serve the other charities that operate out of Jubilee House.

Advisors

John Ashcroft has been with the Jubilee Centre and its sister organisations since 1989. He works principally for the Relationships Foundation but serves as a research advisor and occasional writer for the Jubilee Centre as well. John holds a degree in theology from Oxford University and a Master of Theology from King's College, London. He is married and has three children.

Founder and Chairman of the International Jubilee Network

Dr Michael Schluter CBE founded the Jubilee Centre in 1983 and is now Chief Executive of Relationships Global, which facilitates a number of groups who are seeking to promote Jubilee Centre thinking internationally, in countries such as Singapore, Kenya, and America. He has a PhD in agricultural economics from Cornell University and worked in East Africa for six years as a consultant for the World Bank and the International Food Policy Research Institute. He is co-author of a number of books, including The R Factor (1993), The R Option (2003) and The Relational Manager (2009).
