Michael Schluter Appointed CBE

Jubilee Centre founder Michael Schluter has been presented with his CBE by Her Majesty the Queen in Buckingham Palace. He was appointed Commander of the British Empire in the New Year's Honours list for his charitable service through the Relationships Foundation and the Jubilee Centre in Cambridge.
With typical humility, Michael responded, 'It's tremendous to be recognised and I hope it encourages all the people who work with me - these awards are given to individuals but they should be handed out to teams.'
It is a joy to see his work and efforts to promote Christian social reform over the last twenty-five years recognised in this way. In his efforts to facilitate Christians worldwide who are seeking to engage in Christian social reform, Michael has travelled in recent months to Singapore, Australia, America, Kenya, and South Africa. The coming months will see him making return visits to some of those locations, plus fresh trips to Bahrain and the Netherlands.
