Philip Powell on Pandita Ramabai, an Indian social reformer

Pandita Ramabai was a pioneer in the emancipation of women in India and was named as the 'Woman of the Millennium' by the Indian government.

In celebration of India's 70 years of independence, this talk by Indian-born social activist Philip Powell of the Jubilee Centre considers the extraordinary life of Pandita Ramabai in the context of reformation and Truth.

This talk was part of the University of Cambridge's Festival of Ideas 2017
